Comm-Works transformed it’s booth into an incredible purple carpet event during NRF 2018: Retail’s Big Show this year. The show, held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, applied the theme of “retail transformation,” attempting to address the opportunity for the retail industry to explore new technologies, strategies, and ensure leaders successfully compete in a rapidly changing market. With over 36,000 professionals in attendance and 700 retail companies, the conversations that occurred sparked the start of many transformations among industry leaders.

With business analytics being a point of discussion for wireless technology, our physical security expert, John Ringis, was live at the show discussing ways to operationalize in-store analytics to improve store and online traffic using cameras. With this insight, industry leaders can drive new customer acquisitions through successful implementation of artificial intelligence (AI).

Comm-Works’ very own Brian Flander spent time with industry leaders at the show discussing methods to keep their stores up using network monitoring, avoiding the high cost of downtime.
