Mobile Device Management
Mobile devices, such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops are being deployed, monitored, integrated, and managed to properly equip employees, increase productivity, and better serve customers.
In order to protect the corporate network, administrators must have complete visibility and control over mobile devices on their network. Mobile device management (MDM) allows companies to centrally manage both company- and personally-owned devices (BYOD) by utilizing applications, data, configuration settings, and patches to proactively secure devices.
By taking proactive measures, such as device identification, malware protection, geo-fencing, and separating corporate and personal data, companies are able to eliminate backdoors into their enterprise network. Whether devices are lost, stolen, or the employee leaves the company, they are able to protect proprietary information by remotely wiping corporate data while leaving personal data intact.
