Q. What is the Preferred Partner Summit?
A. The Preferred Partner Summit is an invitation-only event for Comm-Works Preferred Partners. It is our goal that this summit will strengthen our business relationships and provide key insight into Comm-Works' strategic direction. This year, we have included many more opportunities for interactions with the Operations teams.
Q. When is the Preferred Partner Summit?
A. The Preferred Partner Summit takes place on Monday, October 5th starting at 8:00am through Tuesday, October 6th at 1:00pm.
Q. What is the registration fee and how should payment be handled?
A1. The registration fee is $400 per company. You have two payment options.
A2. Preferably, we will take the cost out of your upcoming EFT payments. We would also accept a mailed paper check or credit card transaction. Details can be found on the registration page.
Q. Where is the Preferred Partner Summit being held?
A. The Preferred Partner Summit is being held at Comm-Works’ headquarters location: 1405 Xenium Lane North, Suite 120, Plymouth, MN 55441
Q. What are the preferred hotel accommodations?
A. Comfort Inn at 3000 Harbor Ln N, Plymouth, MN 55447
Comm-Works has reserved a block of rooms at a special discounted rate of $70.00 per night. All attendees are responsible for making their own hotel arrangements. Contact Comfort Inn at 763.559.1222 and ask to reserve a room from the Comm-Works room block.
Q. What airport should I use?
A. Thirteen commercial passenger airlines service the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP); 8 are located at Terminal 1-Lindbergh and 5 are located at the Terminal 2-Humphrey.
Terminal 1 - Lindbergh, serves: Air Canada, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Great Lakes Airlines, United Airlines and US Airways
Terminal 2 - Humphrey, serves: Air Tran Airways, Icelandair, Southwest, Spirit and Sun Country Airlines
Q. How will transportation be handled?
A. Comm-Works will not be providing shuttle services to or from the airport. Comm-Works will not be providing shuttle services to or from the meeting locations. A variety of transportation options are available if you will not be renting a car. Q. Will I have wireless access during my stay?
A. Yes, our IT department will be on-hand to ensure wireless connectivity for all attendees at Comm-Works’ headquarters and the Comfort Inn has complimentary wireless throughout the hotel.
Q. What is the attire?
A. The attire for the summit is Business Casual and the weather in early October is usually around 60 degrees.
Q. Will I have access to the Operations Teams?
A. We have restructured the 2014 Preferred Partner Summit to include numerous opportunities for partners to engage with our Operations employees. Opportunities include the numerous breakout sessions, CW/partner shared meals and social hour.
Q. What does a breakout session consist of?
A. Each breakout session will be run by two CW team members. The Program Managers will outline their customers, requirements needed to work with each customer and upcoming forecasted trends. Additionally, each breakout session will have a topic to discuss surrounding CW’s processes and procedures. These topics will be voted on as partner’s register.
Q. What is the Preferred Partner Summit Schedule?
A. Each partner will be given an individualized schedule to attend every breakout session.
