At Comm-Works our approach to social innovation is integrated into our overall business strategy. We apply our global reach, service portfolio, and the expertise of our employees to help improve social and economic conditions worldwide. Below are just a few of the charitable organizations we work with:
Second Harvest Heartland
Second Harvest Heartland is one of the nation’s largest, most efficient and most innovative food banks. We have created a sustainable support system that provides access to food. Helping hungry neighbors find their next meal—so they can strive at work, in the classroom and in their communities—is what drives Second Harvest Heartland, its partners and supporters.
Special Olympics Minnesota
Offers 8,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities year-round sports training and competition. Through Special Olympics’ athletic, health and leadership programs, people with intellectual disabilities transform themselves, their communities and the world. Special Olympics Minnesota is recognized as a premier organization providing essential life skills opportunities for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
Happy Tails Rescue
Happy Tails Rescue of Minnesota, founded in 2005, is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless, abandoned, and mistreated animals. By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, trainers and boarding facilities, they are able to rescue dogs and cats providing them with loving temporary care until a well-matched, carefully screened forever home can be found.
